Vegan at Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport

I recently stopped in Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport as I was catching my next Delta flight to Washington, DC.  I should point out this was dinnertime and with an already delayed flight, I was dreading my next meal.  I went to a nearby bakery looking for bananas or something that I could munch on for dinner.  I was quickly in disbelief as I discovered this unimposing bakery with several clearly marked vegan items in their menu.

The location is the French Meadow Bakery & Café located near D concourse.  I cannot speak for their other locations, but only for the one inside the Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport.  This location also appears to be open from 5AM to 9:30PM.

I had one bowl of their vegan chili rice and their vegan Reuben tempeh sandwich.  The vegan chili rice was a simple bowl with chili, rice and sourdough bread.  My favorite was the Reuben tempeh sandwich, which came with a delicious spinach salad, tempeh with sauerkraut and rye bread.

If my travels ever bring me back to Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport, I will make sure to stop by Concourse D to grab a hearty vegan meal.

P.S. They also appear to have several land-based stores, to include the one below:
